Lean In: My take

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WWumJF1dEY

The Lean In movement is narrow minded and judgmental. Imposing any ideals on women should not define feminism. To me, it's about what each INDIVIDUAL and UNIQUE women wants out of life. Some just want to be moms, others to be businesswomen. Some want both. But saying that anyone is any less "feminist" just because they don't agree to a certain ideal is insane.
Don't get me wrong; I think there SHOULD be more women leaders. But, not because we are pressed into being one. Stay at home moms can be just intelligent and aware, if not more so, than their working counterparts. It's time they get respect.
I have overcome so much in life I refuse fulfill society's expectations just because it's the norm. Struggling to find one's identity is challenging enough, pressure just confuses the issue.
Uniting strengthens all division does is hurt and alienate. There are NO excuses for not respecting, understanding, accepting, and uniting.
